Versace was invited to design a new look for the Harrods Disney Princess character

Every Christmas, the award-winning window layout of the luxury department store Harrods attracts millions of visitors. This much-anticipated event was held during the Christmas season from November to December 2012 to showcase a series of fabulous window decorations. After the event, all specially crafted costumes and designer's original artwork will be charity auctioned to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital. This year, Versace is honored to be one of the top 10 brands the company has chosen to create an entirely new look for one of ten famous Disney characters. Versace chose to create a modern and stylish image for Cinderella. The princess wore evening gowns of gold and silver to dress up for the ball: the crown, the magnificent necklace, and the iconic Medusa glass shoe. Put on the new Cinderella high-profile and sexy, fully demonstrate the design features of Versace! To complement the event, a 7,000-square-foot Disney Princess pop-up boutique has now been opened on the fourth floor of Harrods, with the Christmas window officially open on Thursday, November 1, 2012.
