1. Saline test method:
Amber density between 1.05-1.10 in saturated brine of 1:4 (salt: water), amber, lightweight plastics and resins can float, ordinary plastic, glass, acrylic and bakelite sink.

2. Thermal test:

3. Knife needle selection test:
The paper cutter cuts the amber into a powder, the resin will fall off in pieces, the plastic will be rolled, and the glass will not be cut.
Using a hard needle and a horizontal line to puncture amber at a 20-30 degree angle will have a bursting sensation and very fine powder residue. If it is a plastic or other substance with different hardness, it will either stick or be sticky. Get in.

4. Nail polish lotion:
Wipe the amber surface repeatedly with a cotton swab and there is no noticeable change. 6. Eye scales:
This is the most important way to identify amber. There are generally beautiful lotus leaf scales in the popcorn amber. The transparency of fake amber is generally not high, and the scales emit dead light. The observation from different angles is almost the same, lacking the aura of amber. The scales and patterns of fake amber are mostly injected, so most of them are the same. The most common one in the market is red scales.
7. Eye bubbles:
The bubbles in the amber are mostly round, and the bubbles in the pressed amber are mostly long and flat.
8. Ultraviolet radiation:
Place the amber under the detector, which will have fluorescent, light green, green, blue, white, etc. Amber and Jinpo are the most obvious discoloration. The discoloration of blood and beeswax is not obvious. The more transparent, the more obvious the plastic will not change color.

9. Aroma:
